Lesson payments are due by the  1st day of each month before lessons are given. For example, October lesson payments are due by October 1st; November lesson payments are due November 1st, etc.   The number of lessons billed is based solely on the number of lessons for your given day in the next month (e.g., If your lesson day is Monday and there are four Mondays in the month, you will be billed for four lessons; if there are five Mondays in the month, you will be billed for five, etc.).  Lessons are pro-rated for new students according to their start date.

Students may opt for autopay wherein their credit card on file will be charged on the 1st day of the month before lessons are given.  It will also be used to charge any outstanding lesson book/accessory billings on a student's account.  Visa/MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are all accepted.   An active credit card is required at the time of registration regardless of whether you choose autopay or not, and customers are required to keep their credit card information updated.  A $20 late fee per month will be applied to past-due accounts following a grace period of 10 days.  In the case of non-payment, lessons may be suspended until the account is brought current.

*Students wishing to discontinue lessons must inform the teacher of a minimum notice of two lessons.  Any lessons paid beyond that will be posted to the student's account.

MISSED LESSONS

Consistency and commitment are the keys to developing and mastering any pursuit, including music.  Therefore, students are encouraged to attend every lesson to advance their skills.  If your student must miss a lesson, we ask that you please text or email us a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the lesson day that will be missed whenever possible.   We do not issue refunds for missed lessons and missed lessons are not made up.   While students are responsible for lessons missed, each student is entitled to one excused absence credit per semester block.  The blocks are as follows:  Fall/Winter (Sept 1 – Jan 31) and Winter/Spring (Feb 1 – June 30).  This credit becomes available to new students after four lessons.  To utilize your excused absence credit, it must be specifically requested through the school no later than noon on the same day of the lesson scheduled.

If your teacher is absent due to emergency reasons,  a make-up lesson will be arranged by the teacher with students.
